Congratulations! You have completed the Foundations for Ministry Seminar. You invested your time, your attention, and your heart into discovering how God has designed you, where He may be calling you, and how He desires to use your life for His glory. That is no small accomplishment, but this is not the finish line-it is the starting line.
The Foundations for Ministry Seminar was never intended to be an end in itself. It was designed to help you take your next steps with Christ. As you have heard throughout the seminar, God is not primarily interested in building ministries, He is interested in transforming people-starting with you. Ministry flows out of who you are becoming in Christ.
That means a new season begins for you right now.
Join Us for Holy Commission Sunday
This Sunday, June 28, 2026 during our morning worship service (starting at 11 AM), we will celebrate your completion of the seminar in the Upper Sanctuary of the Shiloh Worship Center with a special Holy Commission ceremony. During this public service, you will receive your certificate of completion and participate in a formal commissioning service in which church leaders will pray over you and commission you for Christian service. We are recognizing and affirming your commitment to serve God wherever He leads.
Candidate Attire
To help create a unified and dignified appearance for the ceremony, candidates are asked to wear a dark suit or dress (black, or navy preferred), white dress shirt, conservative tie (for the men) and dress shoes.
Invite Your Family and Friends
We strongly encourage you to invite family members and friends to attend. This ceremony is not only about recognizing your accomplishment. It is also an opportunity to share with others what God has been doing in your life.
Remember: This event is ministry too.
Your testimony, your commitment, and your willingness to follow Christ can encourage others to take their own next steps of faith. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Let them celebrate with you.
The Next Phase Begins Now
Holy Commission Sunday marks the completion of Phase One of the Ministry Development Process, but it also marks the beginning of Phase Two.
In coming weeks, we will be focusing on building deeper relationships, growing together in Christian fellowship, and learning how to live out our faith in everyday life. Please stay tuned for more details – they will be coming shortly.
