Next Steps

Thank you for registering for the Discipleship Training Series.  The series starts on June 1, so it is important to get started as soon as possible.  Here are the next steps:

Secure your books as soon as possible.  There are seven books for the course.  As indicated on our course interview, we will start woking in the book on July 8 – this gives you time to get your books.  You can order either physical copies or ebook – the choice is yours.  Go to this page to get instructions on how to get your books. Each book is a study guide with questions and activites.  Be sure to answer all the questions for each chapter before it is covered in class.  In the meanwhile, we have provided Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the book to get you started while you wait for the books you have ordered.

Set up a daily schedule for work in this class.  Each chapter has about 15 questions, so waiting until Saturday night will not be a good idea.  In addition, you will want to think about some of the questions during the week.  We suggest you organize yourself to answer three or four questions each day.  If you do not have it, this would be an excellent way to start a daily time in God’s Word. Get started now!

Register to attend class online.  Registered class members can also sign up to access the class via ZOOM.  It’s to come and participate in person, but if there is a day or two where you cannot be physically present, or you happen to be sick or shut-in, we want to make sure you can participate.

Do your own work, but do this with friends.  You will get the most out of this class by answering the questions on your own and THEN having discussions with others classmates OUTSIDE OF class who are doing the same.  Discipleship and fellowship go hand in hand-find some friends to do this with today!
