GET THE SCOOP!

You are invited to a two-day seminar for young girls (grades 7 to 12) on June 27^th and 28^th from 9am to 3 pm. At 383 Washington Street, Newark, Ohio.  This program is sponsored by Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in conjunction with Heartbeats and while registration is required, there is no cost for the event.

As time goes on, the world is becoming more and more dangerous as it turns from God.  God’s Word tells us that this will happen and that we should raise and train our children to meet the challenges of the society in which we live. I’m committed to doing just that, and I hope and believe you are too.  This event is our opportunity to do that together!

Our goal is to prepare our girls/young ladies for healthy relationships as they begin to wrestle with issues of adult life, such as dating. Hopefully the program will help our girls establish boundaries and set goals as they make decisions that will affect the rest of the lives.

Parental consent is required for participation.  A copy of the consent and registration form is included with this letter.  Forms will be received onsite, but we are taking them prior to the event.

If you have any questions, please contact our church office (740-349-9133) during our office hours (10 AM – 2 PM). Attendance on both days is recommended but if schedules do not permit, participants are welcome to register for just 1 day.

Food will be provided, and transportation to and from the event is also available to the surrounding Newark community.
